* This season is in memory of our friend, Oige Keane

Denis "Oige" Branan Keane passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009.

Oige had been the member of the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony since 2002. He first played violin in the Junior Orchestra and then played the viola in the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony and the Music Academy of the West's MERIT Program. He also sang with the Old Mission Santa Inés Youth Choir and the Santa Ynez High School Choir. He was a Life Scout, working on his Eagle rank, and a member of Troop 41. He was a member of the Santa Ynez High School Class of 2010.

Bach "Orchestra Suite No. 3" will be played in memory of Oige at the November 22nd concert, Lobero Theatre.
