Junior & Intermezzo Strings

Hello Everyone,

We have been asked by Andy Radford, who is conductor for the Youth Symphony, to play at their Children's Concert, which is May 22, 2010 at Hahn Hall.

The Junior Orchestra will have a rehearsal with the Youth Symphony orchestra on May 16th at 6 p.m. All members should be in attendance. We will also have the usual Chamber Ensemble and Jr. Strings rehearsal that afternoon so please plan your day accordingly.

The Children's concert is May 22 in Hahn Hall at 2 p.m. The concert is free so ask all your friends to attend.
Rehearsal will be PROMPTLY at 12:30 on the 22nd. Both Junior Orchestra members and the Youth Symphony will rehearse String Man at 12:30. After, we will have a rehearsal of the music that the Junior Orchestra will play during the concert.
The concert dress is the Jr. Strings T-shirt with blue jeans and sneakers. What a wonderful opportunity for our members to play with the Youth Symphony.

1:00 Dress rehearsal for the Chamber group
1:30 Dress rehearsal for the Junior Orchestra
3:00 Recital
Because this is our last concert of the year, Marisa wants everyone to dress up.
Everyone should wear a white shirt/blouse (no spaghetti straps)
Black pants or longer skirt. ( no mini skirts)
Black shoes-black socks or stockings
Black ties for boys.

We will have a reception after in the courtyard.
Please remember to support the Youth Symphony's Concert the same evening at 7 p.m. at the Lobero Theatre.

What a wonderful experience your children have had this year. They have grown so much, musically, because of Marisa. She is a jewel.
